After the first novel where Susan Sutherland is being stalked by two men (i.e. Double the Fear), the series will follow Susan’s life and her best friend Marilyn’s as Susan helps others through her new website set up to help others who are being stalked.
Below is a synopsis of Susan’s Stalker’s – Double the Fear:
Francine was stalked, brutally beaten and nearly raped by a violent man in Dallas, Texas. She learns he is free on parole after only serving part of his sentence and is living somewhere in Euclid, Ohio. She sets out for Ohio determined to find him and make him pay for ruining her life.
Susan Sutherland is a beautiful single young woman who lives alone in the Euclid Manor apartment complex in Euclid, Ohio.
Jack, a stock clerk who works in the grocery store in a strip center next to Euclid Manor also lives there. The first time he saw Susan in the store, he knew he had to have her. He calls, sends emails and shows up unexpectedly despite her strong rejections. He has a history of assault and rape and served time in prison. He is sadistic and persistent.
Chad, a married tenant sees Susan at a renters association meeting and becomes obsessed with possessing her and riding himself of his wife. He stalks Susan, sends emails and watches her every move. He repeatedly tries to get her alone despite her making it very clear she isn’t interested. He too has served time in prison and has a violent past. He is narcissistic, psychotic and delusional.
Susan becomes romantically involved with another tenant, Ted, which angers both Chad and Jack. Chad believes Ted and Marilyn are responsible for Susan’s rejections. He carries out plans to teach them a lesson. Meanwhile, Jack has plans of his own as he watches Chad clear the field for him.
After an attack on Susan, they finally involve the police. What they eventually uncover shocks everyone. What happens to both Chad and Jack is surprising and just.”
